The beautiful human paradox.

Your life is an intricate network of energy all billowing forth a collaborative expression of a million shades of love. You are truly a Universe that is expressing itself moment by moment constantly looking for its own wonder and joy. You are how life renews itself over and over. You are connected to everyone, everywhere at all times. You are moment by moment co creating your reality shaping and forming everything you see and touch. Through the filter of your imagination you reach out into the world and connect, create and explore. You are also a mammal. You are matter. You are an evolved ape on a chunk of rock hurtling through space at a ridiculous speed. You need water and food to survive. You poop, fart and pee like every other mammal and you have protective and survival instincts. The human experience is a wonderful paradox. We are a balancing act from the day we incarnate. When our life spins out of control it's normally because we have put too much pressure or attention on one side of the equation. We are animal and spiritual. We are light and flesh. When I think about us as a whole I can't help but smile at our beauty, our ridiculousness and the million different expressions of life erupting around us. There is one truth that spans, encompasses both of these aspects of our existence. That truth is that life is sacred.

When life in any form is degraded we feel it deep in our core. When sentient beings are hurt there is a natural empathy that begins to stir deep within us that asks us to reevaluate our conduct. We have seen so many violent acts against beings who feel that we might be convinced that we are numb to it. For a while I thought that was the case but over the Christmas, on my way to my mother in laws we drove past a dog who had been hit by a car. Within seconds I was trying to hang out of the passenger side and Stu had to convince me that we needed a safe place to pull over first. As soon as I was out of the car door I saw a whole bunch of cars had stopped in the middle of the dual carriageway and within moments the animal was scooped up by a lovely couple in a van and taken to get care. I truly believe that both our protective instincts and empathetic awareness is undergoing a deep transformation. Women's familial and maternal instincts are evolving to a point where family and the care of the family is extending to every child and family all over the world. Women are gathering in unprecedented numbers to create change and I think it's through the lens of the female spirit that we will begin to reorient the planets structures.

Men also play a vital role in this. Our paternal energy, our desire to protect and preserve is being pushed beyond all recognition. I am seeing so many men would normally strive to fit into whatever mold is expected of them shrug that off and become activists for health, well being and seeking to care for the planet. We are all changing. We are all growing. We are realigning what has been out of balance for too long. We are recognising the spirit as a part of our daily lives. We don't just want for ourselves any more, we want for others. I witness these conversations happening all over the place not just where I hang out on line but people talking in coffee shops and cue's at supermarkets. Spirit, consciousness, moral integrity is being reinserted into popular culture. The longer we stay there, the more we work towards it the more we will look at the symphony of life and see the beauty in preserving it. We all have a wonderful job to do, to find the wonder and beauty in life within ourselves and then to seek ways to play within it externally. We are being called to do something great right now, I feel it and I suspect some of you do too. It's just in the air isnt it? More than ever now dont just stand in your peace, stand for it.

Thank you,
