As you all know I spend a lot of time working on my business. My aim changes and grows as I do but the over all intention of my writing and on line work is to create a safe space. A place for people to reconnect with their authentic selves or at the very least pick up a little insight. That's what I feel the nucleus of my readings are too. They are touchstones, reminders of your own power and energy. My blogs and all of my other online content is intended to invite the kind of clients that are willing to do the work. I want to be in a space with people who are seeking the best of themselves and are willing to expand their vision of their lives to include a deeper and richer dialogue with the world around them. To understand that spirits are in the air around you and all the spaces in between the world. I want to provide a platform to help people reconnect with the love that they are built from and my favourite part of my job is to be witness to when that happens. It truly is a magical moment. Then of course, from time to time, I get a client who thinks I'm a fortune teller. A client who is looking for spiritual entertainment. A client who wants to play victim to the world around them and tries to place their happiness on my shoulders. I am grateful that these clients are rare these days but it is always a little jolting when they turn up.
What I mean by fortune teller and I might just be playing with semantics here is the idea the the future is set in stone. I believe that I am clear when I speak to my clients that the future is more written in pencil. What I see can be changed. What I see can be used to create. What spirit delivers through me is the idea that your capacity for free will can be enhanced and exalted. Even the spirits themselves, who sometimes lay out detailed ideas of what your future holds understand that it is essentially only advice. What I experience during a reading is a taste of the collaborative picture that is the meeting place between your energy and your idea of your energy. It's like a giant picture erupts around the client and I can see energy patterns and projected futures. I see beyond the face you show me to the root and core of your personal truth which is often the point that those looking for a fortune teller become extremely uncomfortable. I understand that what I do isn't for everybody and if you are looking for some smoke and cards or someone to run around a haunted house for an hour then I'm not your guy. I'm interested in spiritual growth. In the capacity to let your life fill to the brim with love to the point of where people can't help but see your soul in everything you do.
I sometimes think that re branding or renaming what I do might help. In america some psychics are calling themselves “intuitives” or “sensitives”. I understand why, it can help you avoid some of the stigma and cultural stereotypes of what a psychic is considered. But then what's really in a name? The job we do is all pretty much the same. Psychics are mirrors of your metaphysical energy. We are the “medium” between the energy you are creating and the repercussions of it. Your future is of your own making and what you do with the information that is downloaded through my mind is entirely up to you. I've seen clients rebel against it, misunderstand it, reinterpret it to something that they find more comfortable or that fits in with their world view. I've also seen them rage against it and completely ignore it but the majority always accept it and use it as it is intended. They meditate on the information and utilise it to improve their lives. That's really what I want for you all. I want you to be the happiest most fulfilled version of yourself. I want you to love yourselves as deeply as I love you. I understand that we are all beautiful, delicate tapestries and that our lives extend well beyond our physical form. If you are interested in that then maybe we can work together. As always, trust your gut because your spirit knows your more intimately than I ever will.
