As the rain welcomes in another week into Swansea I am curled up by the radiator with a hot cuppa relaxing before getting ready for my week. It's going to be a fun one and even though I am still a little tired from last week's drama's I feel like I am back to centre again with a little something extra to boot. Of course what always seems to happen when I go through transitions like that is a “re testing” of my boundaries of sorts. I think it's just the lingering remnants of an old idea that I used to carry but it still surprises me when it turns up. This is something that I'd like to point out to you today because it's part of growing into a better version of yourself. The more light you open yourself out to the more people you may attract who feel it's their place to have a piece of that. Sympathy, victim hood, rudeness, entitlement, all are smoke screen for an act of energetic vampirism where individuals feel it's their place to take what's yours. Or at the very least attempt to coerce you into participating in their idea of who you are. It's important to recognise this and it's important to not engage. I've learned that the more of a meal you make out of these interactions the more you hold yourself back.
When you wake up to yourself. To a truly brighter more connected version of who you are you have to be ready and willing to go it alone. There might erupt a huge energy gap between you and those around you to the point of where it can feel like you are speaking two separate languages. This is why I never encourage people to go on a mission to “enlighten” others. Some people simply can't hear it from where they are and it's their journey to look within not yours to point out. Focus your energy inwards. You are a complete tapestry of energy that is vibrantly seeking to express itself continually in brighter and more exciting ways. Sometimes trying to bring everyone along to the party actually stops the party from happening. Show up by yourself, trust me there are people already at the party you are going to. You will find them and they will find you. Happiness, peace, joy, these are all internal states, inside jobs. No one is responsible or capable of making you feel any different. It's something you have to do for yourself. It's the same for everyone around you, they have to pick themselves up. The best way to help is to give them a clear example of how it's done.
It's up tp you to wake up your own mind, no one else's. In itself it's a fascinating journey that will make you smile more deeply than you have ever done before. I have more joy in my life than I ever knew possible and with each new twist and turn I still find more. I used to think that it was my responsibility to share it with the world around me now, I know that sharing it is a simple by product of living it. Love eventually becomes service, it always will but trying to serve doesn't always become loving. That I think is a minefield for energetic violations and unconscious swapping. My advice is to always build your own house first. Build your love first. Make yourself happy first. This is on you. With each step forward there will be a resonance, a reminder of who you were. It's up to you whether you make that a stepping stone or a stone to trip on. Remember you are here to share your own light and by doing so you light the dark corners for others to shine theirs.
