What state is your temple in?
Are you looking after your body? Are you treating it well? Feeding it well? Exercising it well? Are you giving it what it needs and what it asks for? Priorities. Maintaining your body has to be one of the founding blocks of your life. Without a body in good condition you can't think straight or sleep well and you need both of those things to accommodate a spiritual life. Look into the foods you put into your body. Learn their history and research how they work within you. So many health problems these days arise out of poor nutrition and exercise so take responsibility for your own body, it is the temple of the spirit.
When you talk physical health to some, defences normally go up. I am not advocating you all become gym buff fitness fanatics but I do ask you do one thing. Just one step this week towards achieving health. I always think the best way to integrate lasting change is to do it gradually. Don't cut out all cakes and biscuits and fatty foods, just have a few less this week. Just for a week. The more attention you pay towards your body the more energy you send to it and in that the more balance you achieve. If you are in any way a chronic thinker then physical exercise is a must. It will take you out of your head and put you squarely into your body.
This is not about striving towards an aesthetic, it is about moving slowly, step by step towards respecting the house of your soul. Give yourself the room to feel better and think more clearly. In doing that you will in turn give yourself the room to love more deeply and share more completely.
Big Love
