So here we are, It's Christmas Eve eve! For the next week or so I am going to take a break from blogging to spend time with family and eat my own body weight in Quality Street. I will try to check in before New Years Eve but you know how busy it get's this time of year. This might be a great time to catch up on a few of the blogs that you might have missed over this last year. Just click “Blog” at the top of this page and the last 4 years worth of blogs will show up. Yes, it's been 4 years that we have been on this journey and I can't wait to see where it takes us next. I do have some ideas that I am excited to explore and I am going to give it my best shot. Whilst looking back I can also see some of the things that I didn't achieve this year. I wanted to do a meditation CD and get a few spiritual books done, that didn't happen. I think it was mainly because I am still adjusting to a heavier work load, finding a routine that supports that workload has been a challenge. Of course as it would happen in the last month of the year I have adjusted my routine to the point of where I can actively fit more stuff in. It's also at the end of the year that I have the resources to do what I want so my goals haven't changed, they've just been moved to 2016 instead.
I don't beat myself up over unachieved goals. Sometimes things happen that way and there's not much you can do about it. I like to think of a goal in the same way as I think of inspiration itself. It's something that moves through you and is born in it's own time. Every time I push inspiration it leaves. It simply dries up! All you can do is play happily within it until it delivers you something. It's at that point you need to be ready. I think on some level I haven't been this year and that's frustrated me a little. In this last month I have had so many personal epiphanies that I feel like a weight has been lifted when it comes to the things I want to achieve next. A lot of getting what you want is getting out of your own way and on some level I have been holding myself back a little. I didn't even know I was until recently. I havent' been doing it in any major way I have just had to develop a skill set to deal with success. It's weird right? We have all of these tools within us ready for failure but when it comes to success we believe we should just be able to get on with it. Break ups, break downs, family upset, money troubles, illness, I have everything I need in place to cope with any of those but, for the last two years every small piece of the puzzle in my life has fallen into place. Not only has it all felt amazing, it's continued to grow into wonderful and unexpected places.
I mean really, we all have the idea of what we would do if we won the lottery but every life change requires a new adjustment, a new skill set and I can hand on heart say I don't think I have been prepared for all of it, until now. Of course I will continue to grow next year and I will share this journey with you in my blogs, in my video's and in my podcasts. I am still growing into this peace and I welcome all of you on this journey with me. It truly has been wonderful and I end this year in really good feeling place. Sat by the fire with a sleepy dog and the fairy lights twinkling on the tree I am deep inside the vision of my life I had years ago. I am exactly where I want to be. I hope these blogs have helped you to create that peace in your own lives. I offer my journey as an example that it doesn't take much to get yourself everything you want. It's a journey of small adjustments to self love. That really is all you need.
Have a wonderful Christmas,
I really do love you all,
Thank you,
