Align your goal with your soul.
I hope all of you had as wonderful a Christmas as I did! I ate too much, drank too much and I moved so little I swear I was in danger of becoming half man half sofa! But now the festivities are over and I have plenty of awesome DVD's to watch, slippers to wear and paints and crayons to draw with. Today I have some time to myself to sit down and think about 2014 and the projects and ideas I want to invest my time in. What I used to do at this time of year is give myself a list and intentionally put too much on my plate so that the pressure of doing it all would make me work harder but thankfully, those years have gone. My focus now is on the emotions I would like to feel and the experiences I would like to have whilst not forgetting, the person I would like to become.
When you focus on personal qualities instead of physical acts you get more centred. Instead of giving myself a long list of books to write why not give myself the task to become the most loving person I can be? If that includes making books then all for the better! Instead of getting thin or getting buff in the gym why not work towards loving your body? It's all perspective, putting emphasis on giving yourself good feelings is putting yourself first and I have spent most of last year encouraging you to self care as much as I have been learning to do it myself.
Your soul came to this planet to express certain qualities. You live as the action of balance. The key to what you are on this planet to do is hidden inside the most joyful feelings you have. You are here to do what you LOVE to do so this year why not focus on that? Why not make this year all about how much you can and will love who you are? Why not make this year about truly embracing your joy on the planet and taking active steps towards bringing it out of yourself and into your life? I believe in you, I truly do. After 20 years of watching people at their highest and lowest ebbs I KNOW in the strength of the human spirit. Instead of making lists centred about the things you want to achieve next year why not make a list based around what you want to feel? Then, ask yourself what do you think needs to be done in order for you to feel that way.
Big Love
