Beauty is a verb!

It is so easy to fall into the trap of comparison. We all do it to some level at some point in our lives and we especially love doing it around our body image. It seems strange to me now to find fault with such a beautiful machine but I had to learn about beauty myself and peel back the layers of what I had been taught to reveal spiritual truth. We have littered and limited our idea of beauty with ideas of sexual attraction, an unhealthy obsession with youth and social convention but beauty is so much more. There is a mass of evolution happening right under your skin, you are still growing and evolving and changing and most importantly you get to be aware of this process!! What other creature on the planet gets to do that?! I have long held the idea that beauty is a verb. It's something you are in the process of creating constantly not something you hold for a brief time in your early twenties! I genuinely feel that every person on the planet possesses a beauty that is so sacred to who they are and unique to their form that I am no longer surprised why forcing it into something it shouldn't be diminishes everyone's enjoyment of their lives.

It would benefit us more if we didn't judge ourselves against the people around us instead if we celebrated where we were by how good we felt we would see our beauty. It's really everywhere. I sadly don't find it surprising when a client comes to me with this issue any more and the level of worth attached to it is overwhelming. If we took our value from the ability to perceive beauty instead of our ability to confine it to youth so many more people would find their paths to peace. Celebrate your form as often as you can and love every pore of your skin. Begin slowly if you need to but start somewhere. Exercise your body, feed it properly, celebrate the beauty around you and work as much as you need to towards cultivating that feeling place of beauty within yourself. So many people see your beauty around you, you'll be surprised how many of them are just waiting for you to catch up.

Big Love
